Eltham Veterinary Clinic has long been a beloved part of the Eltham community, serving clients across generations. But their online presence was beginning to feel outdated.
The site functioned, but lacked the clarity, polish, and user experience modern audiences expect.
The task was to elevate the digital experience without alienating loyal clients. Key constraints:
- Maintain brand familiarity : Colours, identity, and key integrations (especially booking)
- Improve usability: Navigation, visual hierarchy, and aesthetic confidence
- Build for the future: Responsive, scalable, and easy for the client to manage
Rather than reinventing their brand, the goal was evolution, not revolution. We reimagined their site through a modern lens: cleaner layouts, clearer information architecture, and improved visual hierarchy while preserving the brand equity they'd built over years.

- Mapping core user journeys (new pet owner, urgent care, existing clients)
- Wireframing simplified navigation and page templates
- Modernizing typography, spacing, and content blocks
- Ensuring booking and contact paths remain obvious and frictionless
- Building a responsive system from the ground up so mobile and desktop feel equally intuitive

The site retains the clinic's original palette, but infuses it with modern tones, whitespace, and cleaner execution.

Key sections (Services, Team, FAQs, Urgent Care, Booking) are elevated in the main menu, with logical submenus and callouts to drive users where they need to go.
Content clarity
Each service page, team profile, and FAQ is laid out with careful visual hierarchy. Users can scan quickly and find relevant detail without feeling overwhelmed.
Responsive across devices
The layout adapts cleanly from desktop to mobile, ensuring seamless access no matter how clients arrive.
Booking always visible
On every page, the opportunity to book or contact is never hidden - a persistent anchor in the flow.
